WORLD TITLE CHALLENGE
On the 24th August 2019 mr Anthony boldly went to Russia for the first time to challenge Kovelev for the WBO light heavyweight world title.
After only 12 amateur fights and only 19 professional fights Anthony Yarde courageously took on the fight, putting on a fantastic performance Mr Yarde almost took the win in the 8th round.

On the 4th December 2021 Yarde avenged Lydon Arthur in one of the most anticipated rematches in the world, Anthony won by way of knock out in the 4th round, Yarde is now the new WBO Inter-continental light heavy title holder and commonwealth (British empire) light heavy title holder.
